There are games that make you lost yourself in loneliness, sleeping hours at work, and addiction. Burnout Paradise is one of me. I've been playing it for the last few weeks with no end in sight. Sometimes it's fun to play but more often than not, I think about quitting it after 5 minutes because I'm tired of getting nothing done and losing my time for this game. This game has changed my life; there's no doubt about that. All the hours spent playing this game have cost me so much time on school projects and homework assignments by now. I'm supposed to be studying for my exams but instead I've been playing this game nonstop. I've even had the help of an instructor to make sure I was on top of my class, but what do I do? Play Burnout Paradise. I bought this game with no intentions of wasting my time, but every time I play it, that's what happens. It is a very fun game that involves driving through lots of roads at high speeds and completing challenges along the way. With the challenges you can even challenge your friends online to see who can complete them all first. I once challenged a friend of mine to play this game and he agreed. The next time we played, I won because I had beaten him by 4 seconds. Burnout Paradise can be confusing at first, especially for people who haven't played the older Burnout games (like myself). There are lots of different paths you can take in the game and it involves so many cars going in different directions at different speeds. It's fun to take a few minutes and watch the other cars drive around while you try to figure out how they did it. The worst part about playing this game is when a roadblock gets in your way, which will cost you that much time back again. Even after I have completed most of the challenges and driven lots of roads, I'm still not bored with this game. There is a long way to go and several more vehicles and places to go. If anything, it motivates you to do better and always win. The only thing that has discouraged me from playing this game is the same thing that encourages me… it's addicting as hell! There are still a lot of ways to make this game better. One thing I would like to see in an update is more challenges for single drivers. Things like racing against other cars, doing donuts in empty parking lots, and other things I now find myself missing about the old Burnout games. —Zachary Burns Comments: I personally like the game and for what it's worth i think it's a lot better than other racing games, but it does get repetitive after a while. It's nice to have the ability to play online with friends and for that reason alone i really enjoy playing it.
